Ok, so we're finally getting an acoustic show down in this area, and it's less than a week away!
Rams Head On Stage is the perfect little venue for it too, nice and intimate with assigned dinner table seating... gonna be sweet!
I'm trying to imagine what songs we have in store... hmmm...

So anyway, who all is gonna be there? And what time do you think you'll be arriving? Show is at 8:00, and I should be there way early, though I'm not sure when doors open so it's possible we'll need to find another place to hang first and I'm not familiar with what's around.

Maybe I should also point out that Rams Head On Stage is a "21 & over only" venue, incase anyone here under 21 hadn't noticed and was making plans.

I thought I should pass along some important information about what Rams Head On Stage calls their "Performance Package". If you make dinner reservations (which can be done either online or by phone), you get free parking in Gotts Garage (just bring your parking stub in to be validated), 10% off your dinner check, and a complimentary Fordham Draught after the show... not a bad deal! But please be aware, these reservations will be in the restaurant, which is a different room than the show is in, so plan your time accordingly. Of course you may eat at your table at the show too, but doors don't open til about an hour before showtime, and the menu is limited in there.

well I'm putting my hatred of the whole Rams Head franchise aside for one night and going to this show. anyone know of cheap lodging? best I've seeing is $110+

Yeah, me too... I really didn't want to have to borrow his recording equipment and deal with all that, lol...
And I can hear Keith now... "it's a matter of setting up a mic, plugging in two cords, and pressing a button"... yeah yeah yeah...

Anyway... Keith and I have dinner reservations for 2 at 5:30 under the name Denlinger, but I told them others MAY call to be added to the table. If anyone else will be there that early, you're welcome to join us. Otherwise we'll just see you in the show.

Also wanted to point out a few details regarding that "Performance Package" I posted about before: 1) It's only 2 HOURS of free parking, at Gott's Garage on Calvert St, after 4:00pm. 2) It's 10% off your dinner check before the show, OR 15% off after the show. 3) Pretty sure you only get 1 free Fordham Draught after the show, regardless how many are in your party.

I can hardly wait... been waiting almost 3 years for the opportunity to catch an acoustic show! I'm really hoping for some obscure Meddle material, and of course some Syd tunes. Wonder what surprises they have in store for us, hmmm...

Ok, I meant a PAIR of mics... and I forgot you said TWO buttons, but that would make sense... and I would've had a little tutorial tonight too... I'm sure I could've handled it... just didn't WANT to, but I would've for the sake of the music!
