Just wanted to alert everybody that may have not realized, it appears that the boat this time starts boarding at 5, leaves at 6 and returns at 9, not like the 7-10 ones that I remember being on. At least that is what it said when I bought my tickets today. Maybe everybody else already knows this, for some reason I thought that I previously saw 7-10 on this one too. If everybody already knows, sorry to waste message board space. But I know some people have already "missed the boat" on this one. Not like a normal show where maybe you miss the first song or two.

Thanks for posting a reminder Gerry...

You're not referring to me, are you Gerry? If so, then thanks for the heads up. I won't be late this time since instead of driving, I'll be taking the train into Grand Central. Then hopping on a bus to the pier. I think that the starting time was pushed up because of a second show (AMON TOBIN at 10:00) that night on the same boat. That still leaves a 3 hour window for The Machine to play.

Hello everyone,

Regarding the boat cruise - you are correct. Boarding begins at 5pm. The cruise is from 6-9pm. And the reason for the curfew: there is a 10pm concert featuring Amon Tobin. You still get to hear 3 hours of the Machine and then you will have plenty of time to hear some more music in the city.

Jack, What time are you coming into Grand Central?

Chris & I are hoping to be there in the early afternoon to meet up with some friends coming on the boat...

My schedule is flexible, but right now I'm planning on taking the 2:00 train out of Milford and should be arriving at Grand Central around 3:40. The bus ride to the pier should put me there way before boarding time. From Grand Central, are you guys heading straight to the pier or have something else planned?

We are planning on meeting up with Howie at some point. A few drinks & a bite to eat would be nice before boarding. I dont do buses or cabs so we will be taking the nice walk from Grand Central to the pier....

I will not be making the cruise this time. And after watching the weather forecast this morning, I guess I'm just as glad. Last time I got soaked to the bone (and stayed wet all night) from the short downpour that came just in time for my short walk from the ferry to the cruise boat. This time looks worse... hope it's not TOO bad for you guys. Have fun everyone... I'll be waiting for your reports! :)
