Hey Machine Fans,

It's time to start making plans for the summer music festivals happening in 2010. The Machine's going to be performing at some great festivals this summer - sorry, we can't tell you exactly which ones yet - but one that we'd like to play at is All Good, which happens in Masontown, West Virginia.

The buzz about All Good is that it's a festival for the true music lovers, and past attendees have told me that this is true. I've heard it's a great time, without the stress and crime associated with some of the mega-festivals. So we want you to want to see us there...

...which leads me to my point. All Good has a "wishlist" of bands you'd like to see at the festival this upcoming summer. What we'd like for you to do is put "The Machine performs Pink Floyd" at the very top of this list. Oh, feel free to include other bands you want to see there on that list too.

Remember, we love you guys, and we love music festivals...so with your help and your vote, we'll be seeing you at All Good 2010!

PS What other bands did you include on the wishlist?

Well since you had to fill in all 10 lines, my choices were:

1. The Machine
2. George Wesley Band
3. Jim Weider's PRoJECT PERCoLAToR
4. Cabinet
5. MiZ (or Mike Miz solo)
6. Ryan Montbleau Band
7. The Heavy Pets
8. Steve Kimock & Crazy Engine
9. Jackie Greene
10. Leroy Justice (even though I haven't seen them live yet, only heard recordings)

So, I'm wondering what everyone else's other choices were? :?:
If there's anyone out there who can't come up with 10 bands that would be suited for such a festival, feel free to borrow from MY list!

The Machine
Kate Gaffney
Miz
Cabinet
The Heavy Pets
Donna Jean Godchaux Band
Yarn
Ryan Montbleau Band
Zach Deputy
The Black Crowes

for "Name Your Newbie" I put George Wesley Band.

to be perfectly honest #2,3 & 4 are my top picks and are really the 3 most deserving artists to be picked, but have almost zero chance of winning, so I'll play along with getting TM there. However if any of my personal top 3 were to somehow make it, I might consider finally going to All Wookie Fest.

Personally, these would be my top picks, well maybe Kate Gaffney too.

I almost added Kate... main reason I didn't was her location and nobody knows who she is (yet)... figured these other bands had a better chance. George Wesley's band is one hell of a good band, with good originals... I know they already work constantly, but they are ready for larger audiences. I think the only reason I put Jim Weider so high on the list is because I'd just been grooving to Pulse... that CD should be appearing on "best albums of 2009" lists, as every track is solid.

(HA, Keith edited his post before I submitted mine with the quote.)

either way a mix of our top 10 would make for a good festival, one i would actually go to....as long as I could hit a hotel at night....no camping for me EVER.

It's funny being that I live on 58 acres of forest, but I'm just not the outdoors type. I've actually never explored my own property, Much like the time I lived on the beach for a year, I went out there ONCE.
