Hi all,
Hope I'm not stepping on any toes here, but wanted to mention that a great Yes tribute band is touring and will be in the Pittsburgh area September 9th, at Cefalos', in Carnegie. At most shows, they are playing the 3 album 'Yessongs' in its' entirety. They have a web site, and some stuff on you tube.
Catch them if you have a chance, thanks,
Bill

Bill,

These guys sound good, thanks for the heads up... I wish they were coming to my area... they came close to me, just not close enough...

Anyone know where I can find some wire?

LOL :P Yeah I've deleted/banned the wire rope spammer guy 3 times now (and I do ban by IP address), but he keeps coming back. :x

And Bill, I meant to post back when you originally posted. You had made a similar post on the Bonamassa forum, and now I forget which I saw first, but when I read the second one, I thought to myself, hey I just read about these guys somewhere else! Only then did I realize the poster was you, and of course I know you from both forums.

Anyway, I had vaguely heard of this band before, but now I'll have to keep my eye out for them. It's a wonder AHF hasn't posted... he's like the king of all tribute bands, haha. I know he's seen The Musical Box several times (I went with him once), and it wouldn't surprise me if he's seen Going For The One too. AHF?

Actually, I have not seen Going For The One yet. They just played at Rosfest in Gettysburg in May but I did not go this year. Their guitarist (John Covatch) was the lead guitarist for The Waiting Room. But I did see The Machine last night with Vikki, Ron and Kate. Other than an unexpected delay, it was a great evening. We really liked the new venue at Steel Stacks. It has only been open for two months. Great place to see a show. I hope that The Machine make it a regular stop like The Whitaker, The Keswick and The Sovereign PAC. Have a great weekend everybody. By the way, did anybody else finf the new Pink Floyd box set on Godfather records? It is all four nights at the Rainbow Theatre in their entirety.

Hey all,
Here's a link to their website. It has upcoming dates, and some videos to watch. Especially check out their keyboardist, Matt Riddle. Oh yea, the bass player does a hell of a job on 'The Fish'. Enjoy!
