What are the rules as far as recording The Machine shows? Both audio and video? I was up front at Toads, and if I had my video camera I would have been able to record the entire show. I know Lady Ace took some SWEET pics you should check out.

Does it depend on the venue? I think Lupos would be a great place as they have that platform that is in front of the stage, but I just don't know how cool they would be if I brought in a video camera.

Does anyone know?

THANX:)

I'd like to know too. Debating wheather or not to tape the show in charlotte on saturday night. What is the band's policy on audio taping? Also, Does the band do sbd or matrix recordings of the show and sell them at the end of the show? Thought someone said that they may do that? If that's the case, I'd rather do that and not have to wory about chowder heads screaming into my mics  .....and I can just go enjoy the show.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that the band is cool with people recording their shows. I've seen people bringing in equipment all of the time. But the product should be for collection and trading purposes only. I know there are a lot of Machine shows (along with PF) posted at www.echoeshub.com. I think as long as the equipment didn't interfere with anyone having a good time, then the band and the venue would be ok. And obviously don't sell it.

Hopefully Joe or the rest will give me their take. I would love to do the next Lupos show. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I want to video tape the show. Small hand held camera with a single pole tripod.

Thanks!!

I never had a problem with photographing them and Ive seen people video taping them also.. I guess it depends on the venue.. I wouldnt even think of going anywhere that doesnt allow cameras... Thats why I worked so hard to earn my press pass... BB Kings is a cool place to video tape... If you reserve a table on that upper level in the back by the bar, you could set up your camera and tripod and get the entire stage... Thats something I'd like to do someday... But then I wont be able to be up front in MY USUAL SPOT... Cant have everything I guess... Unless I bring someone to babysit the video camera while Im up front taking pictures...

That's where Crazy Diamond and I stood for the show and it is probably the best spot in the house. I might make a trek down for the 2 night show in December. I don't think I'll try to tape the boat cruise, maybe just the Toads show or at Lupos. Lupos is cool because they have that circular stage in front.
