I was planning to come home tonight and order a pair of tickets for next Friday's cruise show, but now they're apparently sold out. This is such a bummer. I'm supposed to be taking my girlfriend, who has never seen them before. We were both looking forward to it, and now it turns out I waited too late.
Does anyone here by any chance have any extras that I can buy? I would be eternally grateful.

Hi Clegg,
Not that this helps, but there is another show on Aug 31st.
Also, you should call the Rocks Off people and tell them you
don't want to miss this show. They are great people and will give you some ideas of what to do.
We weren't aware that the show was sold out yet, where did you get this info from?
thanks
TM

Admin,
When I clicked on 'Buy Tickets' on the Rocks Off website, a page opens up that says "We're sorry, there are no tickets currently available through ticketweb". I thought the website may be in the middle of nightly maintenance, but I checked to see if I can buy tickets for other Rocks Off shows, and it didn't give me any problems. Who knows, it may just be a glitch. But all signs point to Sold Out.
I will definitely call them up and see what I can do. Some venues release extra tickets prior to an event. Maybe they can help me out in that sense.
And as for the Aug. 31st show, you can bet I'll get my tickets early for that one!
Thanks for your help.

Just FYI...
Due to no-shows and cancellations, there is availablity.
Most times if you go to the pier and wait you will be allowed
on after everyone boards.

I just checked on that for you today. The show is sold out. If there are no shows there's a chance you can get in/on. However, the promoter told me that it's kind of unlikely, and I quote, " We might ne able to squeeze a few more on but only if some existing ticket holders don't show up but I wouldn't encourage people"

Thanks alot. I spoke to them earlier today, and they pretty much gave me the same answer. Told me that I can come to the pier during boarding and see what happens, but no guarantees.
I'll probably end up doing that. If it turns out to be too much of a hassle though, I guess I'll just settle for String Cheese at the Beacon.
One thing I do know is I will definitely be there in August. Just ordered the tickets.
Thanks again.
