they just dont seem to be that in it anymore. they dont have the same flare as they used to and everything seems too lax and un-interesting.

well they don't jump around the stage like Mick Jagger but neither did Pink Floyd.
The band stands on stage and plays and it is quite evident that they love what they do ,and they are extremely good at it. That is why they are starting their European tour. Unless there is fighting going on in the band I doubt they will be retiring anytime soon...JMO!

You should have been at the keswick theatre and penns peak.

When The Machine bring out all the big gear, the crowds really respond. Humans on average are more fascinated with lasers and lights they they are the music. And a combination of the two have far superior results. These results are also inherited back to the band. They in turn, read the body language of the audience with ease being they are the only ones facing them.

The band isnt going to get into it if they pour their heart and soul into a 1/2 half performance to get only a moderate reaction from the crowd. This happened at their last performance in Hershey. The crowd was extremely talkative. Lots of youngsters wanting to just "be there" and talk on cell phones during the show. I was lucky enough to be in the pit, audio and video taping the performance, so I placed my recorder near the stack in front of all the crowd noise and got a decent recording as they didnt overpower the place either. Nothing rare was played, Baby Mr Screen was not used, and I dont think the crowd deserved it honestly.

If you were to have seen the show at Penn's Peak with the Wizard of Oz playing in the background during an entire Dark Side Of The Moon performance and heard the crowd roar, respond, and not impolitely shout out songs they want to hear, you would have felt the warmthness and had the afterglow effect I had leaving the place. You could feel the love in the music at the Keswick Theatre and Penns Peak. You could not feel it in Hershey Giant Center.

In the last three shows I have seen (Keswick/PennsPeak/Starland) I missed the "bored muscians" In fact, since Machine shows have become pretty high on my free time tado list (the last 18 months) their show has gotten more and more polished. I have said over and over "they cant top that show" then theres a boat cruise "oh, nothing will beat that" then there's an outstanding show like PennsPeak and Keswick. We might not be seeing as much of them only because the demand for them is going through the roof. They all look happy as shit jamming and the money I gotta guess isnt bad either.

I hope you got it all wrong, but you never know....PF just buried the hatchet and I thought that day would never come!
