I finally won a JamBase contest! A pair of tickets for a show this Friday 2/6 at the Whitaker Center... "Guitar Blues featuring Jorma Kaukonen, Robben Ford & Ruthie Foster"... I only know them by name/reputation, but I love blues, so I think I'm in for a treat. I actually had my eye on this show for a while, but decided not to spend the money... then I almost streetteamed for tickets, but decided not to be bothered... then I saw the JamBase contest the other day and thought what the heck, and I got lucky!

So... NOW I'M LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO GO WITH ME! I've already asked several friends and concert buddies but nobody can make it. And I've posted on Joe Bonamassa's forum, which is full of blues fans, but I'm not sure how many live local to me. So, if anyone here in the Harrisburg area is interested in this show, give me a shout... PM me, or email me at vikki515@comcast.net. I'll go alone if I have to, but I hate to see a good ticket go to waste!

Still looking for someone to go to this show with me! So far all I got is a maybe from someone on JamBase, lol. Hey OJ, I know you're 2 hours away, but this sounds like something that would be right down your alley, and you've been known to travel for shows before, lol... think about it! And how about you, Echoheart... WV isn't that far away!

It's a shame my son has to work... being a guitar player and lover of good music, he'd probably really enjoy this. As for my husband, well he's just not the music lover I am (not sure how I ever ended up with someone like that, ugh, lol ) and besides he has to work that night anyway.
