New studio Machine cd?

So, what are the details? Or is this the unplugged cd?

This was announced a year ago on this site. Nobody has any updates?

Back in June I asked one of the guys (I forget which one now) about the status of the new studio CD... the answer was they're "spending their time on things people actually care about".

I'm not sure if I gave him hell or not, but if I didn't, I should have. I would hope this means it's just kinda been on hold because they've been busy, not totally scrapped. I was/still am really looking forward to it, and I know I'm not alone. In fact this question just came up in another thread not long ago too... between the two inquiries I was hoping they'd answer, but since they didn't, I'm posting what I know, which ain't much, sorry.

The reference Vikki makes was a post I made earlier this month. Look under the Setlist/review thread then under the review for the Rutland, VT show. I qouted what was mentioned about the upcoming CD from the program that was handed out at the show. Actually I still have it handy: "Currently, The Machine is in the studio recording a "psychedelic" collection of Pink Floyd songs expected to be released in the early winter."

I'm hoping someone can ask for an update at the Rocks off cruise, but it is apparent there is some secrecy about the project. My guess is the band hasn't had much off time as they been playing every weekend it seems the whole year, and already booked well into the latter months of 2009. After Toads I'll bet they need some mental rest. While it is good everyone is eager for a new CD, the well being of the band is paramount. As JA said to me, "be patient", and you'll be rewarded. -Scott D.

Update:
As of Aug 29th, the CD is still in the work. The guys have been busy with lots of things but the project is still on going....

Please be patient as these things take time....
It will be well worth the wait, that much I can promise!
