Archive.org rocks......Keith..... Your efforts are priceless. Really enjoy listening to the live music when I can't attend the event in person.

For those of you who may not be real familiar with Live Music Archive, I just wanted to point out a few things and give you some tips:

1. When you pull up The Machine's page at http://www.archive.org/details/TheMachineLive, only 5 shows will appear in each section, but there are more than that to be found! Which brings me to my next point...

2. When using the search function, it helps to put quotes around "The Machine"... here's a direct link for that query:
http://www.archive.org/search.php?query ... on%3Aetree

3. There ^ you will currently find 15 Machine recordings (a couple are the same show, but different tapers), all on that first page of results. More to be added all the time, of course, including tonight's show.

4. The shows can be downloaded in either lossless FLAC or MP3 format, whichever suits you, and neither one involves bit torrent.

5. For those who don't do the downloading thing, there's also a music player to stream the music right on your computer... just hit play.

Thanks again to Keith for all the time and effort he's spent getting this set up and uploading the shows... both his own recordings and others'... much appreciated by all, I'm sure.

I just wanted to point out that a couple older shows from the Visulite Theatre in Charlotte NC were just uploaded to Archive.org within the past couple weeks. One of them dates back to the Neil days and the other is from Scott's early days. Both recordings sound great.

While I'm at it, here's a link for the complete list of Machine shows on Archive, in reverse chronological order... there are currently 36 uploads there (a few are different recordings or versions of the same show)... many thanks go out to all the tapers/uploaders......

http://archive.org/search.php?query=col ... sort=-date

And just a reminder, these shows can be downloaded in either lossless FLAC or MP3 format, whichever suits you, and neither one involves bit torrent. Or you can just listen right on your computer... they fixed their music player a while back and it works great now (no more problems advancing to the next track, etc).

Another older show has appeared on Archive... it's another Visulite Theatre recording, this time from 2010, by the same taper as the other two above. This one has soundboard mixed in with his audience mics... I know that's supposed to make it superior, but in this case I think it makes it sound a little strange at times... but overall it's a real good listen... enjoy......
