hey!
is anyone here familiar with the lincoln theatre and that part of raleigh? i'm looking at staying at a hotel that is walking distance from the venue. is it a safe area?

Check the venue's website. Many venues have a tab for local restuarants and hotels. If they dont, email them and tell them that you are coming in from out of town and if they can recommend a hotel within walking distance.

thanks so much for the suggestion.
there are a couple of hotels within walking distance. i just was wondering if the walk itself was safe. i might give one of them a call tomorrow and see what they have to say regarding the trek.
